YELM Protection I Helium Riding Vest 1.0

The vest features a flexible and slim back protector certified to EN 1621-2 at the higher safety classification Level 2. It also has a cushioning layer over the chest and collarbone, and is designed to protect your spine in the event of a fall from a horse.This safety classification does not cover use in Sweden during competition or for riders under 18 years of age.

The vest is made from an extremely ventilated and stretchy, high-quality mesh fabric, meaning it breathes well and feels cool even in warm conditions.

Because the mesh in our vest is incredibly stretchy, there is often some flexibility when choosing back protector length. Some riders prefer a slightly shorter back protector that does not restrict movement at the lower back during riding, while others prefer a longer one to ensure coverage further down the lumbar region, even though the spine is thinner and more vulnerable higher up.
